Running from a no good man, Jo finds herself crying into nachos at a hole in the wall in the backwoods of Florida. Nick finds her there and can’t leave a woman in need. Trying to be a good guy, he offers her a place to stay.
Opinion
This is another laugh out loud favorite from author Chelle Bliss. She has such a way to make you so engrossed in the story that you are pleasantly surprised when something off the wall comes out of the mouth of one of the Gallos. This totally adoring family has a way of warming your heart and accepting new characters in. I will never tire of reading about this fun family.
I will have to say though, I’m quite mad at the epilogue. It alludes to something I’m not happy about. I only hope that it is wrong. Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait until the next book is out to find out.
