This is the third book in the series. You will need to read the first two books in order to fully understand what is going on.
While I’ve enjoyed all of these books, I will have to say that they are quite thick reads. What I mean is that you need to pay close attention to what is going on. It had been quite a while since I read book two so I was a bit lost at the beginning. (This is my fault and not the authors.) I did pick the story back up quickly and was able to immerse myself in it.
This book is a repeat of the other two where the friends are showing great loyalty to each other. They are trying to save Laila while trying to heal from Severin’s supposed betrayal. Along the way, the group finds themselves in dangerous situations that call for cunning and intelligent responses.
