Blue has a traumatic event in her past. So much so, that she has relocated to an animal sanctuary and does not wander off the property often. She gave up being a paramedic to take care of animals.
When her best friend, who works for a Hollywood agent, offers the sanctuary as a place for an overprivileged actor to do his community service, Blue is not too happy. When his brother, who looks so much like him, shows up first, Blue is taken with the moody man. However, he keeps his distance as much as possible.
Opinion
This is a romance for any romance lover out there. The slow, sweet burn of this story is mesmerizing. All of the train wrecks going on around the main characters just add to the fun. This book was a joy to read from start to finish.
The epilogue hinted at a story with Blue’s best friend. I’m hoping that her story will be coming out soon.
