This is the third book in The Sinful Seven series and perhaps my favorite. It can be read as a stand alone but lets be honest, you’ll want to read the whole series.
Willow is running from her past. Along with the help of her band mates, she is surviving. However, when her boss, Caleb, shows interest in her, the past is hard to hide from. She wants Caleb but only for one night. He is unwilling to accept those terms.
Opinion
Like I said, this one is perhaps my favorite in the series. Lafortune has such a way of writing that it is easy to become immersed in the book. I believe I read this in just a few sittings. The story jumps off of the page and wraps itself around you so that you forget what is really going in the here and now.
I felt every pain and joy that the characters shared. I certainly was anticipating the joyful ending.
