Neve, in the last book, was found standing over her father right after he had been shot. In this book, she goes on the run only to be chased by Noah Locke. He follows her to Morocco and protects her from an attack. When he takes her back to her apartment, she slips him some sleeping and iron pills trying to make him sick. She did plead her case though before she was able to slip away. From there, Locke is intrigued but trying to do his job to bring her back. She is also intrigued by him but she must figure out how to have the guilty person arrested while keeping herself from the same fate.
This is yet another great book in the Broderick Saga. I personally enjoyed this one the most. I loved the fact that Neve was running away from those who thought her guilty and that Noah was chasing her. The twists and turns in this book make it a fun read.
I do highly suggest that you read each of the 3 preceding books before reading this one.
